Somatic Inquiry, Development, and Therapy
sessions with Jonathan Meyer

 

Sessions are informed primarily by the principles and techniques of Body-Mind Centering®. The work is based in somatic investigation and offers:

• deeper learning in the body's many systems and their relationship to each other
• exploration of how the mind functions through these various systems
• integration of developmental movement in the functioning of body and mind
• therapeutic assistance in recovery from physical and emotional injury and surgery
• tools for broadening improvisational facility in movement and character
• honing movement technique and performance skills

Rates are $80/hour.

Jonathan Meyer has completed three years of study at the School for Body-Mind Centering® and received a certificate as a Somatic Movement Educator from the school in 2008. He is a graduate of the Carolina School of Massage Therapy. He has been dancing, improvising, and choreographing since 1990, primarily through Khecari, which he founded in 2002.
