Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Maggie attended the Chicago Academy for the Arts dance department lead by Randy Duncan. After high school, Maggie made an exciting move overseas to train at London Contemporary Dance School where she earned a BA (Hons) in contemporary dance and worked with Lauren Potter, Rrick Nodine, Geir Hytten, and Chisato Ohno. Maggie joined VERVE dance company under the direction of Matthew Robinson. The company created four works by choreographers Hannes Langolf, Lenka Vagnerova, Sita Ostheimer and Matthew Robinson, touring them around the UK and Europe. She received her Masters in Contempoary Dance Performance with Distinction from Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Maggie’s passion for arts education and implementation policies lead her to focus her thesis on the 2013 Chicago arts education plan. Now back in Chicago, she joined The Seldoms in 2018 and has been working with choreographer Sarah Stearn. Maggie also completed her 200hr Yoga certification, with dreams of becoming a Yoga Therapist.
